It’s summertime and things are heating up on your favorite daytime dramas. Sometimes all that heat leads to some serious action, which can, at times, lead to a little bundle of joy.
Soap Hub asked which soap opera character should end up pregnant before the summer ends, and you answered with a shocking tie! Check out who you voted as the lucky mothers-to-be.
Congratulations! It’s a… Tie?
She hasn’t even returned to Port Charles (although she’s clearly on her way soon), but that doesn’t stop 37% of you from hoping to see General Hospital (GH) favorite, Maxie (Kirsten Storms), with a bun in the over as soon as possible!
Sure, she and Nathan have been apart for a while, but absence makes the heart grow fonder, and something needs to distract him from this whole advice column turned book deal with Amy.
Also coming in tops with 37% of the fans’ vote, is The Young and the Restless (YR) go-getter, Mariah (Camryn Grimes). She and Devon (Bryton James) are enjoying their time together, and you wouldn’t mind seeing a little surprise baby bump, further tying these two together.
Perhaps they have what it takes to make things work for a lovely family. And even if they don’t, it will seriously upset Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and that would be a bonus!

Then, 20% of you want to see Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) on The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) have another baby with Liam (Scott Clifton). This couple already experienced one devastating loss, and you would like to see them experience the joy of raising a child together.
Last but Not Least
Rounding out the group is Gabi (Camilla Banus) on Days of Our Lives (DOOL). While she and Chad (Billy Flynn) finally came together when their plane went down on a deserted island, many fans still want to see Chad reunite with his soon to be ex-wife Abby (Marci Miller).
That may be why only 6% of you would like to see her in the family way this summer. But it could make a Chabby reconciliation complicated — which can make for great drama!
