RUMOR ALERT: Could It Be? Tyler Christopher To Days of Our Lives???

The Internet is abuzz with the latest casting rumor that could leave fans of General Hospital (GH) floored–and Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans unsure what to think.

A teaser tweet from Daytime Confidential’s Jamey Giddens got Soap Twitter wondering if Tyler Christopher could be headed to DAYS after he couldn’t reach a contract agreement with GH last year.

Giddens postulated that a star from one soap fans did not want to see leave is now settled in at work on another soap.

That got fans wondering if the star could be Tyler Christopher and Giddens didn’t deny it, instead commenting with a wink when someone presented him with Christopher’s Twitter page, which now says he is following two official DAYS sites, as well as Greg Meng, the soap’s co-executive producer.

Hmmm…that does seem the Emmy-winning actor could be headed do DAYS, but of course this is still just a rumor.

Last year, Christopher’s GH departure came as a shock to fans soon after the actor took home the gold for Outstanding Leading Actor in a Drama Series. The exit was said to be temporary during a stall in contract negotiations, and Nick Stabile took over the role of Nikolas for a while.

Then, Stabile’s Nikolas was allegedly killed, Christopher remained hopeful they could work out a deal, and it all fell apart by fall.

While we have no idea if Christopher would play a newly-created DAYS part or take over an old one, Soap Hub can certainly see the tall, dark-haired soap vet as EJ DiMera, previously played by James Scott.
