Not only are they there for their children, but they also often run major companies, hand out sage wisdom and advice, and help bring their families together at important times.
In all, these moms do what many moms do — find a way to balance their lives and take care of their children, and it’s not always roses.
Some memorable sudser matriarchs, such as Frances Reid as Alice Horton (Days of our Lives), Darlene Conley as Sally Spectra (The Bold and the Beautiful), Jeanne Cooper as Katherine Chancellor (The Young and the Restless), and Anna Lee as Lila Quartermaine (General Hospital), are impossible to forget.
