Soap-hopper Ashley Jones is headed back to the daytime arena, and while that’s great news for fans of one show, it may be a bit of a disappointment to devotees of another!
According to Soap Opera Digest , Jones is headed back to The Bold and the Beautiful to reprise her role as Bridget.
The actress first joined the show in 2004 and has played the daughter Brooke and Eric’s daughter off and on since.
On B&B, Bridget’s been paired with Nick (Jack Wagner), Owen Knight (Brandon Beemer) and others.
Jones first made the soap scene in the late 1990s as Megan Dennison on The Young and the Restless.
In 2016, Jones created the role of Parker, Kristina’s (Lexi Ainsworth) college professor on General Hospital. Kristina expressed feelings for Parker, but the age difference between the two women was enough that Parker didn’t want to be involved with Kristina.
However, one day that all suddenly changed as Parker and Kristina threw caution to the wind and ran off together.
Alas, Jones’ return to B&B means she won’t likely be checking back into Port Charles anytime soon. However, given that some stars soap hop – like Wally Kurth, who does double-duty as Justin on Days of Our Lives and Ned on GH – anything is possible!
And with Kristina returning to PC soon, this pretty much answers the question of whether Parker will be with her.
