Primetime soaps were never the same after Joan Collins made a sophisticated and splashy entrance in the Season 2 premiere of Dynasty as semi-reluctant courtroom witness “Alexis Morel Carrington!” Now, viewers who loved watching the actress can see her on Apple TV+’s The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy.
Meeting The Reluctant Traveler
The series follows Levy (Schitt’s Creek) as he explores many of the world’s most beautiful and intriguing destinations in and around Europe. He explores remarkable hotels and cultures. Locations he visits include Sweden, Scotland, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, and Spain.
In the most recent episode, Levy shares his journey with Dame Joan Collins, who is known not only for her Golden Globe-winning performance as Dynasty’s Alexis but also for her turn as Alexandra Spaulding on Guiding Light. Watch for Collins to broaden Levy’s pallet with oysters. He’ll also try to broaden his horizon by delving into the art of beekeeping in Provence.

Earlier this year, Collins appeared at the 75th Annual Prime Time Emmy Awards where she received a standing ovation. On the red carpet, she offered up some sound advice she once received that has stuck with her: “Don’t believe the good reviews and don’t believe the bad ones. Just get on with it.”
