General Hospital star Laura Wright said a poignant farewell today to one of the most important people in her life.
In an Instagram post, Wright publicly said goodbye to her mother with a beautiful message about the woman she was.
“This beautiful hand right here has given so much love … held many tiny fingers ….cooked countless meals ….. washed loads of clothes …… held 5 grandchildren….. I’ll miss you my Beautiful Momma Xoxoxox. You get to rest now .. I Love You.”
In July, Wright spoke of her mother’s emphysema on Instagram and described her chronic breathing problems.

“Just to walk outside to the car is extremely difficult for her and some days it’s emotionally very difficult… and frustrating to say the least for my mom,” she wrote.
