Latest Soap Opera Families Caught Up College Admissions Scandal!

 Comments

As the college admissions scandal widens, more and more families are being indicted for bribing their way into some of America’s top colleges. In fact, it’s even invaded your favorite soap towns. The scope of this thing is truly shocking!

California Dreaming
Bridget Forrester, daughter of fashion mogul Eric Forrester (John McCook) and his ex-wife, the bold and the beautiful Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), was only born in 1992, and yet, by 2004, she was already a doctor.

What medical school would accept a 12 year old without a massive amount of money changing hands (sorry, Doogie Howser, we still love you!)? No wonder she mixed up those two embryos of Brooke and Taylor’s (Hunter Tylo). Who puts a middle-schooler in charge of an IVF procedure!

Pay To Play
General Hospital’s Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) may be the daughter of outstanding legal eagle Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), but she is also, quite obviously, an idiot.

So, how did she earn a high enough SAT score to get into multiple universities, including Yale? We already know her parents bribed the admissions officer — Kristina knows it, too. She threw multiple temper tantrums about it.

What do you think? Post a comment!

But now comes another bombshell – Sonny (Maurice Benard) had a little “chat” with her SAT proctor. And suddenly Krissy’s score went up by 1600 points!

Business School Confidential
When she isn’t standing trial for murder, The Young and the Restless Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is a VP at Newman Enterprises, her daddy’s company. Her brother, Nick (Joshua Morrow) has also served in that capacity.

When did either of them go to business school? There are diplomas hanging on their walls! Did Victor (Eric Braeden) create his own university to educate his kids? Or just a template and a printer?

Bad Days
Salem is full of twentysomethings. Are any of them going to college? Maybe they’re registered, but are they attending classes? Now the truth can be told — their parents are paying less attractive people to take notes and tests for them. Pretty people have more important things to do.

We wonder what other scandals might come to light soon. After all, it’s only APRIL FOOLS DAY! (For some foolish soap characters.)
