The United States is such a wonderful melting pot and home to some amazing places and many unique as well as blended cultures. The State of Hawaii is often called paradise, and one of these lucky daytime hunks calls the amazing Aloha State his home state!
Given their eye-catching good looks, it’s not at all difficult to imagine Bryton James (Devon Y&R, Billy Flynn (Chad, DOOL), Chad Duell (Michael, GH), or Darin Brooks (Wyatt, B&B) hailing from the stunning island state!
Billy Flynn
Before he entered the world of daytime, this handsome actor had a job in show business — as an analyst! He received a Finance degree and minor in Economics, and he worked for four years with Warner Brother’s Studio in that position.
This Minneapolis, Minnesota native’s television debut was in a Taco Bell commercial and later he guest-starred on Hawaii Five-0 episode titled”Hoku Welowelo” opposite of Melanie Griffith. Ultimately, in 2014 he began portraying Chad DiMera on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), and the rest is dramatic sudsy history!
Bryton James
Incredibly talented, Bryton James began his acting career as a child. He portrayed Richie Crawford on the hit late 80s/early 90s sitcom, Family Matters, which was once part of TGIF on ABC. He appeared in over 200 episodes of the show from 1990 to 1997.
The California native began portraying Devon on The Young and the Restless (Y&R) in 2004, and he’s been on the show off and on since that time.

Chad Duell
This Daytime Emmy Award-winning actor started out his career with Disney. He appeared on The Suite Life on Deck and The Wizards of Waverly Place. Ultimately, the Arizona native made the switch to daytime when he replaced Drew Garrett as Michael Corinthos on General Hospital (GH).
Darin Brooks
This Honolulu, Hawaii native began his acting career as Rapunzel’s prince in his high school’s production of Into the Woods. Did you have any idea that’s where he grew up? He isn’t Polynesian like many from the islands, though. This handsome actor is of Polish descent.
After working as a movie extra and appearing in several shorts and TV series, his soapy daytime career took off when he began portraying Max Brady on Days of Our Lives in 2005. Now, The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) fans throughout the world enjoy watching Brooks as Wyatt in LA.
In 2016, Brooks and actress Kelly Kruger (ex-Eva, B&B) married in his exquisitely beautiful home state!
