They don’t call it ‘love in the afternoon’ for nothing, and these relatively new soap couples have been showing they’ve got what it takes to win fans’ love! But which couple has won the title of the most romantic? Soap Hub asked fans to vote and you didn’t disappoint, as almost 20,000 played judge on cupid’s arrow. Here are those results.
Completely CINful
Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) of Days of Our Lives managed to get a whopping 52% of the vote; more than half! Their union has captured the hearts of fans as the ultimate bad boy (he was a serial killer before pills helped reform him) and the good girl who sees the good in him… and the roses he gave her were sweet!
It was a formula that worked well for her parents — Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) — one of the greatest soap couples of all time.
All That Friz
Making a strong showing in second place with 36% of the votes is another former serial killer and sweet woman, Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) from General Hospital.
She also sees the good in him and that he’s changed (see a theme here?) although not every their jailhouse wedding will be worthy of them.

Love By Design
The quirky love story of Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Sally (Courtney Hope) on The Bold and the Beautiful managed to garner over 6% of the vote, with their fans loving seeing a normal couple (well, neither has killed anyone…yet) have fun with each other.
Naked Heiress Finds Love
With almost 6% of the vote as well is the coupling of Arturo (Jason Canela) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) from The Young and the Restless.
She has been waiting a long time for the right man to sweep her off her feet and he’s waited a long time to find a woman he’s willing to commit himself to… but his nutty ex may be their biggest obstacle!
