Family is everything on a soap. They love each other, hate each other, and some even try to kill each other (okay, hopefully THAT scenario doesn’t happen too often).
While some bonds are stronger than others or change over time, our bonds with them remain intact as we root for everyone to find success, happiness, and love. But just like parents, we sometimes have a favorite.
Soap Hub wanted to know who your favorite son is (don’t worry, we won’t blab), and unlike some of them — you didn’t disappoint.
Good Ol’ St. Nick
It was a tight race but for 43% of you, the answer was completely obvious. Of course, it’s Nick (Joshua Morrow) on The Young and the Restless (YR). His love knows no bounds for his parents. Well, okay, for his mother. Well, even she’s a little ticked at him now.
Even if they don’t believe he puts them first, you know that he does and even if he’s become a bit controlling (hello, acorn?), you know it’s only because he really does know what’s best for his mother. If only she realized it!

The Cleaner
Coming in second with 38% of the vote is dutiful Michael (Chad Duell) on General Hospital (GH), who is always stuck cleaning up the messes made by his entire family. He’s so perfect — nothing sticks to him. Well, that is until he had the gall to date Nelle! Oops!
From Flop to Cop
Still, 16% of the vote decided that JJ (Casey Moss) from Days of Our Lives (DOOL) is the best son! At least, now that he’s turned his life around and joined the police force. He would do anything for his mother and sister, and that has never been in doubt.
Fashion Faux Pas
Of course, 3% didn’t like any of the choices and came up with your own. The majority of those went with Thomas (Pierson Fodé) from The Bold and the Beautiful (with some going for RJ and a few others too). He’s such a good son, he knocked up his dad’s wife. Um, oops. Hmm.
