With the Daytime Emmys streaming live on Facebook on Sunday night and your favorite stars up for Emmy gold, Soap Hub let YOU decide which actors deserve the coveted statuette most.
All performances were outstanding in 2016 and some of the choices ran neck and neck with fans. Find out now who most of you picked after nearly 20,000 votes were tallied.
Billy Flynn
It was definitely close, but a plurality of you–37% to be exact–think Days of Our Lives (DOOL) star Billy Flynn will take home a golden statuette named Emmy on Sunday. He broke your heart as a man who lost his father and his wife in the same year.
Of course, he now knows his wife is alive, but there will forever be confusion about Stefano, because…well…he’s Stefano.
Chad also had to watch his wife’s mental health deteriorate before his eyes and you cried right along with him.
Peter Bergman
Coming in a close second with 34% of the vote is The Young and the Restless (YR) star Peter Bergman. As Jack Abbott, Bergman has won this prize before, and he had another stellar year in 2016 as Jack attempted to put his life together after Marco took it over.

The Marco debacle ended up costing Jack his wife, and he lost Phyllis to his own brother. Hell hath no fury like a brother and husband scorned, and Bergman showed it.
Vincent Irizarry and Kristoff St. John
You can’t decide between Vincent Irizarry (Deimos, DOOL) and Kristoff St. John (Neil, YR), and both of them took third place with 10% of the vote.
Irizarry played the crazed, obsessed, and extremely sad Deimos with zest, while St. John delved into Neil’s past when he finally came to terms with a mother who abandoned him — right before she died.
Scott Clifton
A small 9% of you were most moved by Scott Clifton who broke your hearts as poor Liam, a man whose life was also torn away from him, causing him to lose the woman he loves–just like Jack.
