While she may not be gone for good, Eileen Davidson needs to take a break from her real-life role as one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
After all, she’s now doing double soap duty as Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless (YR) and Kristen DiMera (and who knows who else) on Days of Our Lives (DOOL).
After Internet rumors of her departure surfaced, Davidson took to Twitter this afternoon to confirm them. She cited her busy soap schedule, but didn’t rule out a return to the hit reality series.

Davidson will appear on DAYS once again this Fall, bringing Kristen back after she fell out a window to her alleged death in 2015. There’s no word on whether she will play her array of other characters, The Banks Siblings. (We expect to at least see Susan.)
She will also continue her work as Ashley in Genoa City, so Y&R fans need not worry about losing a fave.
