When Michael Easton posted a Throwback Thursday pic to social media of his days as Tanner Schofield on Days of Our Lives, the rumor mill began churning, wondering if this was the actor’s way of saying a new/old role was coming.
Well, Easton’s spokesperson confirmed to Soap Hub that a picture is just a picture and the actor was just having fun with memories that day as so many on social media do.
But, Soap Hub still asked what you thought if the rumor came to fruition and Easton left General Hospital for greener pastures on DAYS.
Please, Don’t Go!
Out of about 7,5000 votes, it’s pretty clear a majority of you want the actor to stay where he is. A full 57% of you love Hamilton Finn and can’t wait to see the quirky doc become a parent with Hayden (Rebecca Budig).
As ABC soap fans, you love Easton in any role–and he’s had quite a few, especially on General Hospital. Finn has grown on you and you don’t want him swept away just like Silas was two years ago.

A Blast From The Past
Longtime DAYS fans have a different view, apparently. A small, but healthy, 17% of you want to see Tanner again after all these years. You loved his sweet romance with Molly and want to know whatever happened to them. It would be like old home week to bring them both back.

Then, there are 14% of you that want Easton to be like Wally Kurth and appear on both DAYS and GH at the same time. You’ll take the actor any way you can get him, and if that means switching channels, you’re game.
