Daytime Emmy Fan Picks: YOUR Choice For Best Younger Actress Is…

 Comments

With the Daytime Emmys streaming live on Facebook on Sunday night and your favorite stars up for Emmy gold, Soap Hub let YOU decide which actors deserve the coveted statuette most.

Almost 12,500 cast their vote on who should win the Outstanding Younger Actress in a drama series award, and it was a very close race.

The Mafia Princess
General Hospital (GH) actress Lexi Ainsworth squeaked out the win by garnering 27% of the vote. Being held hostage, having had her heart broken by her female professor, and coming out to her father are just a few reasons you think she’s made of WIN!

Alyvia Lyn Lind
She may be the youngest, but 24% of you know this actress knows how to bring it in emotional scenes. Alyvia Lyn Lind brought Faith’s emotions to the surface as the young girl learned about death, and learned her brother and mother weren’t who she thought they were – for different reasons.

Hunter King
A strong 20% believe Hunter King (Summer) brought it in her scenes where she had to break up with the man she loved. She also had to deal with her grandfather attempting to destroy her mother. Her emotions were all over the place, and you think King slayed it.

Chloe Lanier
She plays troubled Nelle on General Hospital (GH) to the hilt, or so say 17% about actress Chloe Lanier. Whether it was comforting Morgan, Michael, or drugging their father, this young woman showed she’s got the chops to play with the bigwigs.

Reign Edwards
Playing a woman scorned earned Reign Edwards (Nicole) top honors with 12% of you. The pain at being betrayed by the man she loved and her own sister touched a cord, and you’re hoping it’s enough to win her that Emmy gold.
