General Hospital‘s Willow had Tracy arrested, but then dropped the charges. Will this move strengthen her position with Michael and the Qs, or do they see through her?
Key Takeaways
- Chase arrested Tracy, but Willow declined to press charges.
- Chase thinks he was right about Willow all along.
- Willow only backed down because she didn’t want to look bad.
- Tracy will not fall for her act.
Proving Chase’s Point
Chase (Josh Swickard) has appointed himself Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) champion and protector, much to Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) dismay. He has been telling anyone who will listen (and even those who won’t) that Willow is misunderstood and a good person. She is not.
She played the victim for him once again when she made it look like Tracy (Jane Elliot) attacked her and threw her in the water. He fell for it and arrested his grandmother-in-law. Chase brought her to the PCPD and would not back down on the reasons for the arrest. Tracy was furious, and poor Brook Lynn was caught in the middle. This was about to cause a war within the Qs.
Then Willow arrived and announced that she would not press charges. She played the role of the bigger person to perfection. Chase beamed with pride for his ex. To him, she just proved that he was right about her all along.
The Rest Of The Family
Were the rest of the Quartermaines as thrilled as Chase regarding Willow’s decision? Probably not.
Willow certainly appears to be the bigger person by letting Tracy go free, but she did not do it for Tracy. She only dropped the charges because Michael (Rory Gibson) made her realize that a family war would hurt their children. She does not want to look bad in front of her kids, so she decided to let it go.
That was surely admirable, but the look on Tracy’s face said it all. She knows what Willow is up to, and she is not having it. Michael’s ex is after Chase, and this situation only got her one step closer to that goal. Tracy and BLQ may pretend to be thankful to Willow, but this is not ending here. They will keep up their plans to get rid of her, and maybe Chase as well.
