Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) don’t see why Rocco (Finn Carr) is so against them sneaking into Wyndemere. They also don’t understand what he is so afraid of. Rocco cannot tell them the truth and it is killing him.
The two teens did not heed Rocco’s warning and are getting themselves into deep trouble. Rocco has no idea how to help them. He threatened to go to Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) but couldn’t bring himself to do it.
He chose to turn to Gio (Giovanni Mazza). They may have only recently discovered they are brothers, but automatically felt a bond. Gio is a little older and a little wiser so it made sense for Rocco to solicit his advice. He couldn’t bring himself to tell Gio what was going on, but did mention Danny and Charlotte.

It is very telling that Rocco turned to Gio instead of his parents. Lulu and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) already know about Cullum’s shooting so they would have helped their son to help his sister and “brother.”
As much as the teen wanted to stop Danny and Charlotte’s plan, he did not want to turn on them. The three of them have a special bond and trust between them. He did not want to betray that.
Gio was a great option because he is not a figure of authority, just an older brother. Rocco is lost and feels very alone. He knew that Gio wouldn’t judge him, but would only help as best he could.
Rocco was not able to get the words out, and left more upset than he was when he got there. Gio was understandably extremely concerned.
