General Hospital (GH) fans had to get used to a new Monica this spring when actress Leslie Charleson injured her leg in April and was unable to work.
But, the actress has recovered nicely and just announced her first day back on set has been scheduled for July 23.
With the soap’s tape schedule, that will put Charleson back on our screen as Monica by mid-August.

Fans will be thrilled to see Charleson will be back in the role she’s played for more than 40 years. Her injury occurred earlier this year while walking her dog and many thought the actress had been permanently replaced.
Patty McCormack has been playing Monica for nearly two months as the character has been heavily involved with Nelle’s story and also has to contend with the Kiki’s hospital sexual harassment suit.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
