Little Avery Corinthos is now in pre-school and through her nearly four years of life, she’s barely had any time with her mother on General Hospital (GH). And that includes since birth.
Nina delivered the little girl after kidnapping Ava. She then had a complete psychotic break when Avery was born, truly believing this was the baby she lost 20 years ago. She blamed Ava, who had an affair with her husband, Silas, and even had Silas’ daughter, Kiki.
Nina spent 20 years in a coma and all she wanted when she woke was the baby who was gone forever. She took Avery, named her Jamie Summers, and went on the run with Franco.

But, first Ava had to come to the realization she wouldn’t get to hold the child she just brought into the world. In the years since, someone (mainly Sonny) has kept Avery from her and this is how it all began.
