Watching Original Jason (aka, Patient 6) and Sonny bond on General Hospital (GH) has moved us in ways they never expected, and it is a good reminder about how their bond began.
They’ve spoken about how Sonny (Maurice Benard) basically made Jason (Steve Burton) the man he is today as he stepped in as a father figure. But there is a reason that was needed. The Quartermaines refused to accept the “new” Jason after his accident and drove him away.
While Jason loved his grandmother Lila (Anna Lee), only Ned (Wally Kurth) and Lois (Rena Sofer) seemed to understand that he was still a man who deserved to be listened to and respected.

But, it was the way Monica (Leslie Charleson), Alan (Stuart Damon), and Edward (John Ingle) treated him that got to him–especially after he roared into the Q living room on a motorcycle.
