It was an emotional General Hospital (GH) moment for Carly and Sonny–then estranged from one another–when she had to break horrible news to him.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) was actually with Brenda at the time, but Carly (Laura Wright) knew she had to tell him what happened to their son as soon as she could. The night before, Michael had finally opened up to Jason (Steve Burton) about what had happened to him in prison.
Sonny has always had a special relationship with Michael even if he isn’t his biological son. When he hears what happened to his beloved boy, he’s ready to grab a gun and shoot the culprit.
Of course, Carly lets him know that isn’t necessary since Jason already killed the man in question. You can watch the emotional fallout from their tense discussion in the clip below.
