Since the day Tyler Christopher announced he’d be taking a break from General Hospital last spring, fans have wanted him back on their screens.
For a short time, Nick Stabile took over the role to finish off Nikolas Cassadine’s summer story, but since then, The Dark Prince has been presumed dead. In addition, it seemed that Christopher was supposed to return in September, but that fell through. The actor made it clear he didn’t return because he and the show’s powers-that-be couldn’t reach a contract agreement.
However, he rarely makes his love for Port Charles a secret on social media and this weekend he once again tweeted his appreciation for the fans–especially a fan who wants him back ASAP.
One of Christopher’s many admirers said he is not just wanted, but needed, and Christopher responded with his gratitude.
Last month, the actor responded to another fan asking if there’s ever a chance for his return with “Never say never.”
The desire looks like its there for both the actor and the audience, as Port Charles surely needs this Cassadine around. Now, it’s just GH’s move.
