Do General Hospital aficionados want to see Tyler Christopher return in the “Nik” of time?
He’s only been gone a few months, but now a cryptic tweet is giving fans hope that the Not-So-Dark Prince may be on his way back to Port Charles to Laura (Genie Francis), Spencer-and them. The question, of course, is how do you all feel about his possible return? Nearly 5,000 viewers made themselves heard loud and clear.
Nick-Knack
It’s a landslide! A full 93% of you desperately want to see Nikolas Cassadine back on the GH canvas, and he can and should only be played by Tyler Christopher, who originated the role back in 1996 and played it through 1999, then again from 2003-11, and, most recently from 2013 to September 2016.
For many of you, the fact that he’s come and gone so many times is simply proof that yet another return is inevitable, though you’d prefer it sooner rather than later. Nikolas left a lot of unfinished business in Port Charles, not to mention a grieving mother (Genie Francis), son (Nicholas Bechtel), and… uh… wife (Rebecca Budig). Plus, he owes it to himself and his family to take another shot at Valentin (James Patrick Stuart).

Nik and Tuck
With so many fans shouting, “Yes, yes, a thousand times, yes,” it was a small but brave minority, 6%, who tempered their enthusiasm by agreeing to support a return… as long as the storyline proved interesting.
This group wasn’t so blinded by Tyler Christopher’s arm muscles that they’ve forgotten dud tales like Black Widow Mary and her Nik-lookalike husband, Conner. And then there’s Ghost Emily and her lookalike, Rebecca. Plus, don’t forget Pickle Lila and the Stavros-sickle. If Christopher returns, it better be for a story worth his while.
Nik-Ers In a Twist
And then there was the even smaller number of you, 2%, who want to see him back… as another character. The aforementioned Conner, perhaps? Or maybe Nik’s long-lost twin, Rick (named after his step-grandfather)? Mick (he can be Irish)? Dick….?
