Scorpio No More: Tristan Rogers OUT Again At General Hospital!

It’s been great to have Robert Scorpio back in Port Charles off and on this year, but according to Tristan Rogers, General Hospital fans have to say goodbye to the spy once again.

When a Twitter follower asked the popular actor what his status is with the GH after he had announced his return to The Bay, Rogers didn’t mince words.

“Shot my last show last Monday. Only Frank knows the future,” he said in response.

The “Frank” in question is GH executive producer, Frank Valentini. Rogers returned to the show this past year to help his character’s ex-wife, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) stay out of trouble as she and Jason (Steve Burton) were doing some sleuthing overseas.

He’s been back and forth since spring, with Valentin kidnapping Scorpio at one point and him making a triumphant surprise comeback at The Nurses’ Ball.

After that, the character, who has a long history on the show would seem like someone who should stick around Port Charles.

Seeing him harkens back to a glory time for the venerable soap — as it’s hard to see Robert and not think about his BFF Luke Spencer. And since Tony Geary has retired from the show, seeing Rogers cracking wise around the Port Charles Police Department brought back incredible memories.

Of course, this doesn’t mean we won’t see Robert Scorpio again one day. We just wish he was a regular fixture in PC.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
