Since Jason just got fired from his undercover janitor job on General Hospital (GH), he doesn’t have much to celebrate… but actor Steve Burton sure does.

Burton was born on June 28, 1970 in Indianapolis, IN and was still in his teens when he landed his first primetime gig as Chris Fuller on the sitcom Out of This World.

A small role on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) as Harris Michaels led to the much bigger role of Jason Quartermaine on GH in 1991. When Jason Q morphed into Jason Morgan, it made soap history and Burton has been enjoying the daytime life ever since.

After four years as Dylan McAvoy on The Young and the Restless, Burton returned to GH last year. He left the soap in 2011 and nobody ever expected a return, but it was welcome when it happened.

Burton splits his time between Los Angeles and his home in Tennessee he shares with his wife, Sheree, and three children.
