So much for Mother’s Day. We don’t think Nina or Willow will be celebrating when the action continues next week. On Friday’s General Hospital, Nina created quite a disaster. And according to the weekly spoilers, that means she’ll have some explaining to do to Willow in the Monday, May 11 episode.

Nina Has a Talent for Upsetting Everyone at the Same Time
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) used Nina (Cynthia Watros) to trap Jack. It worked even though Nina almost messed it up. Regardless, Jack (Chris McKenna) and Valentin battled. And to help bring the chaos to an end, she created so much more. Nina used the syringe that she was supposed to inject into Drew (Cameron Mathison) and stabbed Jack with it.
Needless to say, Jack is incapacitated for now. And that madness leaves Nina needing to warn Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) about everything that transpired. How much of it Nina tells Willow is up in the air. She undermined her daughter and her plan to keep Drew under control in so many ways. First, she didn’t inject Drew with the contents of that syringe. And now he’s moving his fingers.
In the video preview at the end of Friday’s episode, Valentin is already wondering what in the world was in that syringe. Valentin is a smart man. He’ll guess what Nina and Willow are doing to Drew, and that removes control from Willow and places the power with Valentin. It could be used as leverage if he wanted or needed. Things are getting messy, and it may result in Drew being unlocked from that locked-in state.
Lulu Also Has Some Serious Explaining to Do
Meanwhile, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) put their heads together and came up with the big answer to who shot Cullum (Andrew Hawkes). They realized that Rocco’s isolation, his acting strangely, and the tremendous guilt he was exhibiting weren’t just about feeling bad for Danny (Asher Antonyzyn).
It was the trauma of choosing to protect Jason (Steve Burton) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and that means he had to shoot Cullum. On top of that, he knows that Jason got locked up in the supermax prison to protect him. And now Dante is hating himself for not being there for his son. But he and Liz also realized that it’s not just Britt who knows Rocco (Finn Carr) was on the docks that night. Lulu (Alexa Havins) does, too.
Lulu brought Rocco to the hospital and fed Elizabeth a bogus kitchen accident excuse for why Rocco’s hand was bloody. On Monday, Dante must confront Lulu, which is why the teasers say she is in the hot seat.
Elizabeth Connects the Dots Again
Meanwhile, Elizabeth is supposed to put the pieces together. She and Dante already did that with who shot Cullum on Friday. Does she connect the dots with a different mystery? Maybe she figures out that Cullum was the one who killed Marco (Adrian Anchondo), or there’s something suspicious about Nathan (Ryan Paevey).
Ava and Ric Are in Trouble
Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ethan (Nathan Dean) cornered Ava (Maura West) and Ric (Rick Hearst) at her gallery on Friday. Ethan swept Ava away while a hurt Sonny faced his half-brother with a gun. Ava and Ric were definitely in cahoots, but ultimately it probably isn’t something that goes against Sonny in a negative way.
Ric has been working so hard to create a healthy(ish) bond with his brother. Unfortunately, Ric is Ric. He can justify lying for any reason, and he thinks he’s too smart for anyone to figure it out.
In Friday’s video sneak peek, it definitely looks like Ethan and Ava will clash as he takes her away from the gallery. As for Sonny, he wants to know why Ric has betrayed him for the last time ever. It’s up to Ric to either keep up the charade or tell the truth right away. What will he tell Sonny?
