On General Hospital, there may finally be movement on the Operation Find Valentin front. The spoilers for the Tuesday, June 16 episode reveal that Valentin accepts his fate. Does this mean he is about to be caught?

Key Takeaways

  • Valentin appears to accept his fate as Cullum receives potentially game-changing intel.
  • Tracy and Michael find common ground amid the escalating Willow drama.
  • Dante defends “Nathan” while Brennan strikes a bargain with Willow.

Valentin Accepts His Fate

Two of Tuesday’s teasers may be connected: 1) Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) gets new intel; and 2) Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) accepts his fate. In this week’s video preview, Cullum sounds very official as he holds a document that could be a warrant and says, “We have reason to believe that Valentin Cassadine is on the premises.”

So there’s the very real chance that Valentin could be cornered. But, come on, he is such a wily individual. Just because he accepts his fate doesn’t mean that anything bad will happen.

Tracy and Michael See Eye-to-Eye

After the fool arrested Tracy (Jane Elliot) — the fool being Chase (those were Tracy’s words, not ours) — she has to be livid. She has no doubts that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) threw herself into the water to make her look like the victim she wants the world to believe that she is. This resulted in a brush with the law for Tracy, but she’s used to those.

But thankfully, Tracy must download Michael, or the two compare notes. Because they both realize they see eye to eye. Hopefully, Michael will let Tracy in on his plan to discredit Willow by manipulating the environment so that Willow and Chase (Josh Swickard) would have an affair. Tracy would easily be on board with this idea.

Brennan Bargains With Willow

Willow is dealing with frustrations on all fronts. One of the things challenging her right now is what to do about Brennan (Chris McKenna). She wanted to continue drugging him even after learning that Nina (Cynthia Watros) had discontinued the injections. He told her he had leverage she could use on Drew (Cameron Mathison). But he must want something in return if he is suddenly bargaining with the congresswoman.

Dante Defends “Nathan”

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna, who says he’s getting some of his best material yet) is going to kick himself once he finds out the truth about his so-called friend and colleague. But for now, he is choosing to defend “Nathan.” This could be about the detective “letting” Sidwell (Carlo Rota) get away. Fake Nathan’s explanation for what happened probably sounds plausible.

But if Dante really sat down and thought about it, he would realize that certain things about his friend don’t add up. He has occasionally made mistakes that a seasoned cop like Nathan wouldn’t.
