Anna and Britt are struggling women who have recently returned to Port Charles. On Thursday’s General Hospital, the two come face to face, and it doesn’t seem like it’ll be a pleasant conversation. Spoilers for July 16 reveal that Anna interrogates Britt, which could mean the tone may turn heated. Although, to be fair, just about every conversation with Britt reaches heated levels.
Key Takeaways
- Anna puts Britt in the hot seat with tough questions.
- Obrecht’s latest loss pushes her to a breaking point.
- Gio and Emma discuss their future as Isaiah and Cody face pivotal moments.
Anna Grills Britt
Anna (Finola Hughes) has been in research mode since returning to Port Charles. All of her conversations are helping her catch up on what’s been going on since she’s been gone. She is struggling and hallucinating and seems to have an agenda that we are not privy to yet. But she’s taking every opportunity she can to understand the particulars of this cold-fusion weapon saga.
On Thursday, she’ll interrogate Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), whose recent escape from PC has had some consequences. The WSB may have let her go, and she’s a free woman. But she has no place to stay, and she’s back to being underfunded. When Anna interrogates her, she might not be so cooperative because everything is making her crankier than normal.
But Anna will want to understand this Cassius (Ryan Paevey) situation better, and she might get some real answers from Britt. That is, if Britt wants to give her any.
Cranky Daughter, Crankier Mom
Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has had to deal with a lot of emotional trauma in a very short time. She learned that her Nathan wasn’t really her Nathan. So she was forced to mourn her son all over again. But she quickly accepted Cassius as her son, even though she never knew about his existence.
And as soon as she accepted him into her heart, he was gone. Everybody is telling her that he is dead. No wonder Obrecht lashes out. Is this anger saved for Britt or someone else?
In Other Port Charles News
Emma (Braedyn Bruner, a 2026 Emmy nominee in the Emerging Talent category) is happy to have her grandmother home. And Gio (Giovanni Mazza, also a 2026 Emmy nominee in the Emerging Talent category) is back working as a lifeguard at the Metro Court pool. Plus, there’s his return to music.
That’s what is happening for them individually. But when it comes to the two of them together, they seem closer than ever, and the latest teaser just may back that theory up. Gio and Emma discuss their future. What kind of future are we talking?
Meanwhile, Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) interrupts Portia (Brook Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner). If there’s an interruption, it implies that it could be at a moment that he wasn’t expecting to see. Portia’s baby may be coming. What does Isaiah walk in on? Finally, look for Cody (Josh Kelly) to deliver difficult news.
