Ava and Drew Are Shocked to Their Core
Ava and Drew’s alliance is already highly dysfunctional and destructive. They drugged Brennan (Chris McKenna, who talks about Brennan’s death), and then the WSB agent somehow died. So they dragged his body to the nature preserve next to the Quartermaine property.
They dug a grave and buried him in it. And then Drew (Cameron Mathison) framed Nina (Cynthia Watros) for Brennan’s disappearance, resulting in her currently doing a stint in Steinmauer. Nina is Ava’s bestie, mind you. And she isn’t doing much of anything to help her friend out of her predicament. She’s certainly not coming clean.
And now, on Wednesday, Ava (Maura West) and Drew are horrified. Could they be behind framing Sonny (Maurice Benard) for the beatdown Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) received?
Knowing that Curtis was collateral damage could horrify Ava and Drew, as the teasers suggest. But honestly, anything these two are doing to achieve their goals should horrify them.
The Ambush Fallout Continues
Before the thugs exited Curtis and Sidwell’s jail cell, they conveniently dropped Sonny’s name. And now that Curtis and Sidwell are taking up a couple of hospital beds at GH, Sonny has to be the primary person of interest.
As a result, Ric (Rick Hearst) attempts to do damage control. He knows everybody will be looking at Sonny for this. And he will do what he can to make sure those eyes look elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Sonny questions Jason (Steve Burton). If he asks his friend whether he knows anything about what went down, then Jason will have to tell him he’s had a million other things on his plate.
Additionally, Curtis’s claims baffle Jordan (Tanisha Harper), who knows that Justine (Nazneen Contractor) and Sonny have a thing. She even spotted them kissing outside the Brown Dog. So Jordan might find it difficult to think that Sonny would have ordered the beatdown. It would definitely impact his relationship with the ADA. And not in a good way.
Michael Puts Molly’s Mind at Ease
Finally, Michael (Rory Gibson) may be trying to manipulate things with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Chase (Josh Swickard), but he’s also the go-to guy who will listen to his friends and family. He has been supporting Jordan, especially since she started her new gig as temporary CEO of Aurora Media.
