Laura (Genie Francis) intervened and got Nikolas (Adam Huss) to turn himself in to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) told Gregory (Gregory Harrison) and later Sam (Kelly Monaco) that she felt guilty for having helped Esme with a job. Sonny (Maurice Benard) confided in Dante, and his son offered his help in finding out who is after him. Scott (Kin Shriner) consoled Lucy (Lynn Herring) after Martin (Michael E. Knight) told her he deserved better. Anna (Finola Hughes) made a proposition to John (Adam Harrington, get to know the actor here), who in turn arrested her and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) for obstruction.

Brick (Stephen A. Smith) expressed his doubts about Dex (Evan Hofer) to Sonny but said he would look into it. Michael gave Dex a new mission. Tracy (Jane Elliot) made a confession to Martin that she messed with his relationship with Lucy as retaliation for their antics. But it was too late — when he went to apologize, he realized Lucy had slept with Scott. Anna made a big announcement to John — she was taking Laura up on her offer and was now the new Port Charles Police Commissioner.

Spencer’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) family and friends said goodbye, including a returned Cameron (William Lipton), who was there for Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Joss (Eden McCoy). A surprise mourner — Heather (Alley Mills, who discussed Heather here) appeared for Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl), which surprised the two people who were paying their respects to her — Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst). Finn (Michael Easton) realized Gregory was doing worse with his ALS. Dante was conflicted over his father and his job. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell) took a step toward reconciliation.

Chase (Josh Swickard) shared his concerns about their father with Finn and they realized he needed to live with Finn. Gregory, talking to Lois (Rena Sofer), realized he should live with Finn and asked. Carly (Laura Wright) gets an assist from Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) with an ad guy who was leaning toward abandoning Crimson to work with Nina (Cynthia Watros) again. Nina asked for Martin to look into her former employees’ contracts to see if he could get them out of the no-compete clause. Michael appealed to Sonny by telling him exactly what happened with him and Nina. Willow was worried about Drew and his vendetta against Nina that he couldn’t let go.

Sonny finally reconnected with John, whom he knew as Jagger back in the day. During their talk, he learned about a recent string of mob hits and John said he was there to save his life. Carly and Drew helped Joss with her grief and discussed his vendetta against Nina. Brick took Jordan out to collect on that favor and ended up making a discovery regarding Dex. Cody helped Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) with Maxie (Kirsten Storms) while having a fun night out with her and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson).
Week Ahead
Coming up, things heat up in Sonny’s orbit. Brick managed to perk up his radar towards Dex and now the mob boss is suspicious of his protege. Things get pretty dicey for the young man as Sonny’s fury grows more intense. Ava figures in here somewhere and tries to advise her daughter’s father but by the end of the week, Sonny issues a warning. Who will be his target?
