Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) made an important decision to adopt Ace after Martin (Michael E. Knight) told them about Nikolas’s (Adam Huss) wishes. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) confided in Tracy (Jane Elliot) he was ready to move in with Finn (Michael Easton). She laughed herself silly when she learned Lucy (Lynn Herring) really did sleep with Scott (Kin Shriner). Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) discovered Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) plan, which was to have slow construction fix the Crimson office after a leak happened.. Sonny (Maurice Benard) was suspicious of Dex (Evan Hofer) and arranged a car ride for the two of them. Trina (Tabyana Ali) struggled with her grief, and Ava (Maura West) tried to help her. Joss (Eden McCoy) and Michael (Chad Duell) discussed Sonny, and later Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) allowed Michael to move back in.

Dex was in a fraught situation when he slowly realized he was the one Sonny thought was the rat. He refused to give up Michael’s name. Carly realized what was happening and tried to get Sonny’s location out of Brick (Stephen A. Smith) so she could stop Sonny. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) learned that Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) are more than friends but she wasn’t thrilled to know Kristina told her about the baby already. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) connected with Laura and pledged to support her decision to adopt Ace. Lonely Ava sought out a friend — Laura — after she told Carly that she was afraid to leave her daughter at her place because of the danger in Sonny’s world. Gregory, Finn, and Chase (Josh Swickard) broke the news to Violet (Jophielle Love) that her grandpa was sick.

Sonny was furious when Carly arrived and claimed she was the one who hired Dex. He realized she was covering for Michael and he figured out the whole plot to take him down. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) confided in Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) her Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) feelings. Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr) celebrated their anniversary by finally consummating their marriage. Chase and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) shared a magical moment watching a comet shoot across the sky. Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) learned Danny was in trouble when a cop caught him drinking at only 14 years old. Willow and Michael made love.

Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) crossed paths but he would only tell her just so much about Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). Nina realized how Drew is sabotaging her efforts to start another magazine. He then offered to buy her half of the hotel. Dante and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) got disturbing news that Olivia Jerome was killed in prison. Ava advised Sonny. Josslyn was determined and asked Dex to run.

Sonny told Dex that he needed to disappear but when he said without Joss, Dex put his gun in Sonny’s hand and begged him to just kill him cause Joss gave him a reason to live. Ava tried to impart wisdom to Josslyn, who was mostly resistant to hearing what she had to say. Joss found Sonny at Dex’s and he told her he was gone and handed her a letter saying goodbye and his dog tags. Anna identified the body of Olivia Jerome. She, Dante, and Jordan strategized, realizing the same person who shot at Sonny killed Olivia. Cyrus (Jeff Kober) told Laura how he planned to protect Nikolas — with the souls he helped guide in prison. He also told her he was now doing a radio show to all of Port Charles, shocking her. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) reassured Sam after hearing that Danny got caught drinking. Alexis also went to see Ava and break the news to her that her sister was dead.
Week Ahead
Coming up, Valentin is up to something and it involves helping Nina with her latest crisis. Look for him to make a big announcement and to counsel Nina on the best way to move forward. This will lead to Nina doing or saying something that will surely rock Carly and Drew’s worlds.

But being in mourning doesn’t prevent Trina from being there for someone else — and she will do just that for Joss, who needs some encouragement.
