Curtis (Donnell Turner) had his first physical therapy session, which Stella (Vernée Watson) crashed. Finn (Michael Easton) wrestled with saving his own skin at the expense of the woman and her family who was suing him. Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) enjoyed a romantic dinner while in Paris. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Chase (Josh Swickard) struck out in Toronto looking for Esme. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) told Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) that Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) booked a ticket to Paris. Later, we see she arrived there.

Tracy (Jane Elliot) spoke to the woman suing Finn. Soon Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) announced that her client wanted to drop the lawsuit. Curtis and Portia (Brook Kerr) joined Laura to rescue the kids from Esme in Paris. Spencer discovered the crew member Esme knocked out bleeding. Esme found Trina in a stateroom. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Anna (Finola Hughes) questioned Brennan (Charles Mesure). Ava (Maura West) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) that their daughter was confused about his relationship with Nina so he spoke with her. Later, Dex (Evan Hofer) alerted Sonny and Ava about a threat he found.

Lois (Rena Sofer) apologized again to Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) but it wasn’t until they went up against Nina that Olivia seemed to forgive her bestie. Carly (Laura Wright) worked with Deception on a deal that even Tracy eventually approved of. Ava and Sonny survived the shooter, though Ava had an injury to her hand. Spencer tried to rescue Trina but Esme stuck him with a needle that would make him woozy and eventually both Esme and Spencer went overboard to Trina’s horror.

Laura holds out hope that Spencer is alive, as does a devastated Trina. Curtis and Portia also were on the ship to help Trina. Josslyn (Courtney Fulk) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) helped Adam (Joshua Benard) stay at Port Charles University. Drew (Cameron Mathison) eventually forgave and talked Michael (Chad Duell) out of quitting. Lois tried to steamroll Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase with her idea for their wedding but Tracy helped them get the wedding they wanted.

Trina returned to her PC dorm and told Joss (Eden McCoy) that Spencer was dead — later Joss called Cam. Laura cried to Kevin and Sonny about losing so much family but Laura also took her friend to task for the beatdown on her brother. Lo and behold, Cyrus (Jeff Kober) showed up. Later, so did Nikolas (Adam Huss) with Ace. Nina and Ava caught up but then Sonny returned. Jordan and Anna’s meeting with the arms dealer brought the FBI in on them — including Jagger Cates (Adam Harrington), who earlier introduced himself to Leo (Easton Rocket Sweda) while Olivia and Carly argued about Olivia keeping Nina’s secret.
Week Ahead
Coming up, there is more fallout from the loss of Spencer Cassadine as his loved ones and their friends come together to mourn his untimely passing. There’s plenty of upset, guilt, and shock to go around but get ready for an actual surprise in the form of someone showing up for Esme. What is going on here?
