The General Hospital spoilers for October 16 tease a rescue situation for Trina. Meanwhile, Jason somehow triggers Britt. And Elizabeth and Dante get closer. Here’s your Friday preview.

Key Takeaways

  • Trina finds herself in need of help, but Quinn’s convenient arrival raises questions about his intentions.
  • Jason inadvertently triggers an emotional reaction from Britt, despite their recent breakup.
  • Elizabeth and Dante grow closer, potentially signaling a shift in their longtime friendship.
  • Ric takes on a new client, while Gio has thoughts.

Trina Finds Herself in a Tough Spot

Trina (Tabyana Ali) is trying to make her music career with Gio (Giovanni Mazza) happen, while also dealing with her dad, who’s in the hospital after getting beaten up at Pentonville. But little does she know that there’s somebody who’s spying and maybe even stalking her.

On Friday, Trina is in need of rescue. GH’s weekly video preview features the singer stuck in her car. And who shows up just like that to see if she needs help with her car trouble? It’s Quinn (Jequan Jackson), who’s a potential person of interest for this stalker.

He and Trina got off to a rough start — Quinn initially resented the hell out of her. But lately, he has been all about Trina. And that includes him eagerly showing up to her performances. He only has positive things to say about Kai’s (Jens Austin Astrup) girlfriend these days. Is Quinn coming to Trina’s rescue genuine… or manipulated?

Britt Has an Emotional Reaction Because of Jason

According to the weekly teasers, Jason (Steve Burton) inadvertently triggers Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). They broke up weeks ago and have mostly stayed away from each other.

But if Britt suddenly gets triggered, then it’s Jason’s presence that does it. What does he do that causes this extreme reaction? And if Britt is this easily affected, then she may need therapy sooner rather than later.

Elizabeth and Dante’s Connection Continues to Develop

After Lulu’s article blew up, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) found themselves at Lulu’s house. Elizabeth was upset that Lulu (Alexa Havins) had quoted her in her hit piece about Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Drew (Cameron Mathison), and the drug that caused Drew’s locked-in state.

Maybe Dante and Elizabeth continue to talk about the fallout from Lulu’s incendiary exposé. And when they do, they get closer. Elizabeth and Dante have been supporting each other in platonic ways for months now. It’s not shocking that their friendship would start to grow into something more. Maybe Ric (Rick Hearst) and his insecurities were onto something.

In Other Port Charles News

Thankfully, Ric has a few distractions, so he shouldn’t have to worry about Elizabeth and Dante anytime soon. There’s plotting with Sonny (Maurice Benard). And up next, look for him to take on a new client.

And Gio has thoughts. He’s moving in with Emma (Braedyn Bruner), which should be a happy time for him. But he feels bad that he had to hurt his grandfather in the process. Is that what he’s thinking about? Or is it something else?
