General Hospital‘s Gio’s been a busy guy lately. He is working as a lifeguard at the Metro Court pool. For a little longer, anyway. He just signed a record deal with Trina. He has been spending time with his sister, Phoebe, and his girlfriend, Emma. Oh, and he also rescued Drew Cain from the lake. The spoilers reveal that Gio’s news rattles the Quartermaines. This news could be about Drew’s not-so-locked-in state.
Key Takeaways
- Gio delivers unexpected news that rattles the Quartermaines.
- Michael makes a powerful statement as his influence grows.
- Alexis is caught off guard while Ava grows increasingly suspicious.
- Trina and Kai jump to conclusions.
Gio Gives the Quartermaines an Unexpected Update
Gio (2026 Daytime Emmy nominee Giovanni Mazza) utilized his lifeguard skills to save Drew (Cameron Mathison). He had no idea that it wasn’t an accident. Nina (Cynthia Watros) purposely pushed Drew and his wheelchair into the lake. Gio told Nina and Jack (Chris McKenna) that he saved Drew, and then the former congressman left.
Gio must break the news about Drew to the Quartermaines, and that’s why they’re suddenly rattled. Their relationship with Drew is contentious at best. They probably fear what Drew’s being back means for them.
But maybe Drew will save his wrath and vengeance for Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Nina, and Sidwell (Carlo Rota). After all, Tracy (Jane Elliot) agreed to let Drew back on the Q property to watch Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) swim. Jason (Steve Burton, who’s nominated for a 2026 Daytime Emmy) said that maybe it was time for a new chapter.
While Michael (Rory Gibson) said he didn’t think this experience would change him, he also said that nobody deserved what happened to Drew. When Scout talked to her dad about getting along with everybody, maybe Drew listened. Add Gio’s rescue, and the Q’s could have nothing to fear from Drew.
Michael Makes a Powerful Statement
When Maxie (Kirsten Storms) moved to Australia with her family, she sold her Deception shares to Michael. He vowed to make decisions for the best of the company. He wouldn’t necessarily automatically align himself with Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) against Lucy (Lynn Herring).
That didn’t please Tracy. Ultimately, Michael and Brook Lynn did create a cousin alliance. On Wednesday, Michael asserts his power, which means this could have to do with his newly acquired business venture, aka Deception.
In Other Port Charles News
Drew’s return could be the thing that throws Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). After all, she has been spending a lot of time with Scout, who loves her dad. If he’s back in every sense of the word, there will need to be discussions. Meanwhile, look for Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) to jump to conclusions.
And Ava’s suspicious. Ava (Maura West) has been circling around Ethan (who’s now being played by Christian Howard), so her suspicions may have something to do with him. They could also have to do with her bestie, Nina, who’s in a world of trouble if Drew has his way.
