It’s time for the Ashford clan to pull together and celebrate moving forward at The Metro Court’s pool deck. Marshall (Robert Gossett) and Stella (Vernee Watson) are there, and they welcome Trina (Tabyana Ali) as Curtis’s (Donnell Turner) daughter by all clinking glasses with Portia (Brook Kerr). The voiceover says, “As one family repairs what was” — we see an adorable father/daughter selfie with Curtis and Trina.
But then Nina (Cynthia Watros) reveals to Ava (Maura West), “The second that Ned wakes up, he is going to spill everything,” as we also see images of a worried Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) watching Ned (Wally Kurth) through a glass window at General Hospital. Oliva (Lisa LoCicero) is also there and worried. Cody (Josh Kelly) is stepping up to care for Leo (Easton Rocket Sweda).
A diamond ring is seen being placed on a table as we hear the voiceover say, “As another [family] is about to fall apart.” Is that Nina’s ring from Sonny? It looks like Ned is awake as Sonny (Maurice Benard) says, “And then maybe he’ll start telling everyone the truth,” as we’re then shown a worried Nina.
The action then cuts to Carly (Laura Wright) talking with Drew (Cameron. Mathison), saying, “Did you find something?” See it all for yourself in the sneak peek video below.
GH made its debut in 1963 and was created by the husband and wife team of Frank and Doris Hursley, taking place at a hospital but in an unnamed city. In fact, the setting wasn’t named as Port Charles until the 1970s. General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes. For more about what’s coming up in Port Charles, check out all the latest GH spoilers, and for an in-depth look at the show’s history, click here.
