We’re not sure if it’s wishful thinking on the part of Port Charles viewers who really need Willow to die already, but the Internet is buzzing with GH spoilers suggesting that Nelle is about to pop back up — and she’ll be played by Katelyn MacMullen! It actually makes a great deal of sense.
GH Spoilers: End of the Road
Willow needs to die. It doesn’t matter if you love the character or hate her, but the storyline demands it. Willow hid her condition from Michael (Chad Duell). Carly (Laura Wright) kept Nina (Cynthia Watros) being Willow’s mother a secret. If Willow had told Michael earlier, she might have gotten treatment earlier. If Carly had told Nina and Willow earlier, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) could have been tested earlier. The point is, Willow’s behavior can’t be rewarded. It would set a bad example for viewers. And Carly’s behavior can’t be rewarded. Even though it certainly isn’t being punished. The storyline dictates that Willow needs to die.
General Hospital Silver Lining
On the other hand, MacMullen is an engaging, Daytime Emmy-nominated actress. The vitriol online is directed at the character, not her. And if Daytime Emmy-winner Chloe Lanier isn’t available to reprise her role, then it makes sense that Willow should die so that Nelle might come back to life — and be played by the same actress now playing Nelle’s twin.

GH Spoilers Story Possibilities
Widower Michael having to deal with Wiley’s biological mother returning could be a great story. Nina getting to keep at least one daughter would be a fitting reward for how Willow, Carly, and Michael have treated her. And it would deeply upset Carly. Which would make for a great story. And Nelle still had lots of great story available to her. She’ll want revenge on the people who took her baby away from her. She’ll want to see Wiley. She and Nina could make a formidable team. And we’d still get to keep MacMullen! Think this speculation could really happen? Should it? Let us know in the comments section below.
