GH spoilers made it clear that it was only a matter of time – and not that much time, at that – before Trina Robinson learned that her mother had been keeping a whopper of a secret from her. And that it involves Trina’s new stepfather, Curtis Ashford.

End of the General Hospital Road
Trina (Tabyana Ali) will never, ever forgive her mother, 5% of the audience predicts. This is the sort of lie that severs even the strongest of emotional ties. Portia (Brook Kerr) lied to Trina and let her believe for almost two decades that Taggert (Réal Andrews) was her biological father when it was really Curtis (Donnell Turner). Trina isn’t Curtis’s biggest fan these days anyway. This will not help her feeling toward either of her parents.
GH Spoilers: Bond Girls
It’ll all turn out fine, 19% are feeling more sanguine about the outcome. Portia and Trina have a bit of that Gilmore Girls vibe. They’re not just mother and daughter, they’re gal pals. Trina will be a little miffed to start, but eventually, she’ll remember everything Portia did for her, and they’ll be as close as ever. Trina and Curtis, on the other hand…hmm.

General Hospital: Long Time Coming
But the majority of fans, 76%, see it as a combination of both. Trina will be super angry at the beginning, but she will come around…eventually. It’s not so much that her relationship with Portia is so great, it’s that everyone in Port Charles eventually gets over whatever is bugging them. How many times has Michael (Chad Duell) turned his back on Sonny (Maurice Benard) only to embrace him again? Just copy and paste that, Portia and Trina.
