GH Weekly Recap

It was a week to remember on General Hospital, giving us some moments that we won’t soon forget! After overhearing Lulu and Laura talk about Valentin, Charlotte caused something of a scene at Crimson, prompting her parents to rethink their custody arrangements.

A different manipulation was exposed elsewhere, too, when Carly and Finn each figured out that Sasha’s fake affair with Chase was all for show.

Deceptions also abounded elsewhere, when Sonny supposedly worked out a deal with Cyrus… but Cyrus himself kept his sights set on Jason. There’s more drama coming, and next week, we’ll be in the thick of it. Here are the spoilers!

GH Weekly Teasers

Having finally sorted through his conflicting feelings, Michael faces the future head-on, ultimately making a life-changing decision. Something similar could be said of Nelle, who sets off on a new path after making a proposition… and asking for a favor.

Complications are still set to abound, though, and they bring some new trouble when Carly and Nina find themselves on strongly opposing sides.

General Hospital’s History

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running daytime drama, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.

Bringing the Drama

More then five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime drama on the air as other soap operas were axed. GH is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air, with the other three being Days of our Lives (DAYS), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
