GH Weekly Recap
We watched quite a few impactful moments on General Hospital, along with some milestones that we won’t soon forget! Everything kicked off with Sam’s chance meeting with Jason, during which he convinced her to keep from testifying against Sonny. It was the start of a long and complex romance, which saw both heartbreak and danger coloring every moment.
In the end, though, Jason proposed to the love of his life with a shiny bolt-nut, and then they skipped out on their own wedding in order to have a very private ceremony at the Noodle Buddha Chinese Restaurant. We’ve been through highs and lows, and next week will continue that trend. Here are the spoilers!
GH Weekly Teasers
The many shades of Sonny will be on full display as he interacts with each of his children, starting when he does the unthinkable by shooting Dante. His deeper complexities are revealed later, too, during a therapy session that he shares with Kristina.
Everything culminates with an intensely powerful exchange atop the General Hospital roof, as the man tries desperately to keep Morgan from jumping.

General Hospital’s History
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running daytime drama, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.
Bringing the Drama
More then five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime drama on the air as other soap operas were axed. GH is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air, with the other three being Days of our Lives (DAYS), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
