GH Weekly Recap

We had a pretty intense week on General Hospital, seeing some milestones that we won’t soon forget!

Quite a bit centered around the Chimera; a biotoxin that Valentin had sold to Helena in order to pay for his extensive plastic surgery.

A canister of the substance wound up in Jake’s possession, and a vision of the villainess urged him to include it in his magic act.

Even as quite a few folks were focused on that situation, Sonny and Carly had their own concerns, ultimately learning that Ava had switched out Morgan’s medication, and then confronting the woman before she could escape. We’ve covered a lot of ground, and there’s moreover the horizon! Here are the spoilers!

GH Weekly Teasers

The 2018 Nurses’ Ball continues, and an unscripted walk-on by Robert leads to an explosive, show-stopping confrontation.

Flashing forward to one year later, we’re treated Finn’s on-stage proposal to Anna, which promises to lend a heartwarming atmosphere to the festivities.

All is not well, though, as a multitude of villains causes problems, with Shiloh stirring up trouble… and Ryan replacing Kevin.

General Hospital’s History

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running daytime drama, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.

Bringing the Drama

More then five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime drama on the air as other soap operas were axed. GH is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air, with the other three being Days of our Lives (DAYS), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
