GH Weekly Recap

We watched a number of twists and turns on General Hospital this week, and the one ahead promises some curves of its own! Sonny spent his time in silent agony, debating about how he should handle Mike’s remaining days… and deciding not to have a “Do Not Resuscitate” order.

Sasha went through a struggle of her own, using drugs to get through a photoshoot after being upset by Michael’s marriage to Willow.

Speaking of that wedding, it took place at the Quartermaine mansion, but when the couple arrived to the courthouse, they discovered that Nelle had gotten married, too. Emotions were already escalating, and next week, they’ll be even higher! Here are the spoilers!

GH Weekly Teasers

Nelle’s shocking revelation sends a ripple through Port Charles, leaving almost everyone feeling off-balance and uncertain. Unpleasant emotions will also take hold of Sonny… and some curious developments will prompt a growing amount of suspicion.

General Hospital’s History

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running daytime drama, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.

Bringing the Drama

More then five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime drama on the air as other soap operas were axed. GH is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air, with the other three being Days of our Lives (DAYS), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
