GH Weekly Recap

Situations took a turn for the overwhelming on General Hospital this week, and the problems kept piling on! Laura was shocked to see Nikolas alive, then furious to learn that he had stayed away on purpose. That anger only escalated when the man married Ava, which Laura saw as a mistake.

Life got difficult for another Cassadine, too, when Valentin was offered some not-exactly-reassuring facts about his origins… and was then arrested after trying to abscond with Charlotte.

Jason and Sam had their own situation to contend with, offering Robert information on Peter in the hopes of getting Sam a new parole officer. Now the pressure is on, and we’re set to see someone snap! Here are the spoilers!

GH Weekly Teasers

A shocking confession from Nelle immediately sends ripples through Port Charles, raising the question of if she’s telling the truth or playing another manipulative game.

It’s one more bit of pressure on Carly, especially after Sonny decides that a timely trip may be in order. Several situations coming together also start to raise Chase’s eyebrows, prompting him to update Jordan on everything he has discovered.

A Look Ahead

There’s no doubt that the journey ahead will be an intense one, so make sure that you tune in for every moment. Also, while you’re watching, see if you can spot any of the subtle hints about where the story is going… and if you do, don’t hesitate to point them out. General Hospital’s History

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running daytime drama, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.

Bringing the Drama

More then five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime drama on the air as other soap operas were axed. GH is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air, with the other three being Days of our Lives (DOOL), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
