Your General Hospital spoilers weekly update for December 23-27, 2019, is here! Catch up on what you missed, get a sneak peek at what’s ahead, and find out what’s new in the world of daytime drama!
GH Weekly Recap
The sparks were certainly flying on General Hospital, and it wasn’t long at all before we saw an open flame!
Franco woke up as himself, but he was completely unaware that any time had passed. That was good news for Peter, but not so great when Franco learned of Drew’s death.
While that was going on, Ava held an auction for Helena’s portrait, which burned itself up after Laura won… but the whole thing was a trap for Nikolas, who walked right into it.
Speaking of Nikolas, after Charlotte tried to prove that she had a bodyguard, she presented a picture of the man to Laura. The fires are rising higher, and they’re giving way to an inferno! Here are the spoilers!
GH Weekly Teasers
In a very special standalone episode, the citizens of Port Charles will learn the true meaning of Christmas in a reimagining of a Dickens classic. Back in the real world, though, Nelle keeps a cool head as she starts slowly furthering her aims.
That quiet demeanor will be a polar opposite to Julian’s, though, because as situations start to get out of hand, his rising temper causes him to explode.

General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running sudser, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.
Bringing the Drama
More then five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime sudser on the air as other soap operas were axed. It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
