Before the impeachment trial of the president wreaked havoc on General Hospital spoilers, throwing everything off by days at a time, viewers learned that Michael had decided to save Wiley from Nelle’s influence by moving his crazy ex into the mansion owned by his almost-as-crazy Quartermaine family — and all hell will break loose.

While Nelle (Chloe Lanier) may seem completely mad at times, there is a method to said madness. Right now, she’s looking to hit while the iron is hot — so she turns up the heat on the Quartermaines by driving them even more crazy with her presence. But she has a good reason — and it’s all about that ELQ stock according to the February 3, 2020, issue of Soap Opera Digest.
Nelle’s not stupid. She knows the last thing Michael’s family wants is for her to have her late husband Shiloh’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) shares (courtesy of Oscar) of their company and that they will do anything to get rid of her. Michael’s (Chad Duell) already put forth an opening bid for them, but that wasn’t enough for greedy Nelle.

She quickly realized that one way to get the bid raised is to up the stakes. Nelle knows that the bigger pain she is for the entire Q family, the better the chance that they will pay even more to get rid of her — and it’s a pretty solid plan. Except that Nelle will be getting a little surprise of her own — courtesy of her ex.
Nelle will be in for a shock when she isn’t given the best room in the mansion — or any room, for that matter.
Instead, she’s stuck staying at the boathouse. She wouldn’t be the first “guest” of the Quartermaines to be scuttled into an off-shoot of the family home.
