Ava Brainstorms Another Dangerous Scheme
On Friday, Ava (Maura West) pitches another dangerous plan to Drew (Cameron Mathison). She must be feeling herself right now. Ava and Drew successfully got rid of Brennan’s body (for now). Nobody has found it. Not even Outback.
Drew took a couple of liberties and framed Nina (Cynthia Watros) for it. And now she’s sitting pretty in Steinmauer. And Ava’s doing nothing to rectify that. She’s protecting herself instead.
Ava came up with the plan that framed Sonny (Maurice Benard) for the beating that put Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) in the hospital.
He may not have been arrested, but it lit a fire under Justine (Nazneen Contractor) to do whatever it takes to bring Sonny down. She even turned to Drew for help. And Ava has an excuse to keep Avery from seeing Sonny. Because of her, much of Port Charles is questioning Sonny’s claim that he got out of the mobster life.

Jason Puts Josslyn on Blast
Josslyn (Eden McCoy), thanks to her WSB status and her new CEO position, is trying to destroy Sonny financially and run him out of town. She thinks he’s the one responsible for sending her bestie’s dad to the hospital. And she’s done with letting him get away with murder. She bought the piers right out from under Sonny. And who knows what else she has planned.
Jason (Steve Burton) may have Joss to thank for getting him out of the WSB’s black site supermax prison. But there’s no way that he agrees with what she’s doing to Sonny. The teasers reveal that Jason will call her out. But will she actually listen to him, even though she puts Jason on a pedestal? Doubt it.
A Legal Confrontation Heats Up
Ric (Rick Hearst) prides himself on being a bulldog when it comes to his work. Monet (Blythe Howard) may have just arrived in Port Charles, but it’s clear that she’s a pretty ferocious legal eagle as well. Look for these two to go toe-to-toe. Monet isn’t one to hold back. Just ask her half-sister Jordan (Tanisha Harper). Ric won’t have any problem rising to the challenge, however.

This might have something to do with Willow’s libel lawsuit. It’s going to be an uphill battle for the investigative reporter. There are people —Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Drew, and Sidwell — who will work to discredit her article and her professional reputation. With Ric as her lawyer, there may be hope.
