General Hospital spoilers for December 20, 2023, tease characters growing closer, growing concerned, and growing more and more afraid by the day for their loved ones. It’s an episode you won’t want to miss.
General Hospital Spoilers Highlights
Ever since the soap introduced Joss’s study buddy Adam (Joshua Benard; read what his proud dad said about him during his recent birthday), the character’s exhibited behaviors that are worrying. His father’s pressure for him to succeed academically and become a doctor is causing his anxiety to spike in very unhealthy ways. It’s a good thing he has Joss (temporarily played by Courtney Fulk) to help him cope when the pressure gets to be too much. But, how much longer can that go on?
Well, Dex (Evan Hofer) might have the answer to that. He notices something’s up with Adam. He’s concerned about this guy’s behavior, while at the same time, being super protective of Joss. Will Dex get in touch with his inner therapist to encourage Adam to open up? Or will the guy who’s not exactly the most touchy-feely of individuals end up doing something he can’t take back?
Fear and Loathing in Port Charles
In the world of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), there’s always something dangerous, dramatic, or devastating lurking around the corner. For now, she’s been informed of everything Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) discovered in Forsythe’s file. Guess it’s time to fill in Valentin (James Patrick Stuart)? Previously, Anna said she and Valentin were over. However, these two are about to come to a realization. Will this realization be professional or personal?

As for Valentin’s daughter Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez), her life is still affected by Victor’s (Charles Shaughnessy) machinations and expert brainwashing techniques. And then there’s the fact her dad’s girlfriend accidentally (or from Charlotte’s perspective, on purpose) shot her. Things like this tend to mess with a girl’s head. Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) can’t help but be afraid for her. So will Kevin use his psychiatric know-how to help mend Charlotte’s mind? Or will the teen’s life continue to veer out of control?

Heart to Heart
While Cameron (William Lipton) is off at college and Jake (Hudson West) is involved in this whole Charlotte mess, Aiden (Enzo De Angelis) is finally going to get some attention. Look for Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and her youngest son to have a heart-to-heart conversation. There are tons of topics that could make their agenda including: 1) Finn; 2) What’s going on with Jake; 3) Aiden’s baking ambitions; 4) What’s up with his dad; and 5) All of the above.
Finally, Stella (Vernee Watson) and Marshall (Robert Gossett) have known each other FOREVER. After all, he was her brother-in-law. On the flip side, Stella has seen the good, bad, and ugly that happened in the wake of Marshall abandoning his family. Point is, the two have history. Is there a chance they may have a future? Because teasers say Stella and Marshall grow closer. Closer? In what way? And whatever happened to Stella’s guy in London? Is he still in the picture?
