Valentin is lucky that he’s not the one lying in the hospital bed, incapacitated. Now he has the time to start strategizing, according to General Hospital spoilers for Friday, May 15.
Key Takeaways
- Valentin starts strategizing while Carly takes a dangerous stand against Cullum.
- Fake Nathan may find an unexpected new ally.
- Elizabeth opens up to Dante.
- Ric and Alexis come together for Molly.
Valentin Goes Intro Strategy Mode
To be fair, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) has been strategizing ever since escaping the WSB’s clutches during the prison transfer. He teamed up with Carly (Laura Wright), and they brainstormed ways to bring down Jack (Chris McKenna). They’ve also added Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to their list of targets.
His plan to trap and leverage Jack hit a snag when Nina (Cynthia Watros) accidentally injected the WSB Station Chief with Drew’s meds. And now he’s unconscious in a hospital bed, which means Valentin will have to reconfigure his next steps. Who gets his focus next?
Carly Handles Cullum
While Valentin strategizes, Carly takes it upon herself to stonewall Cullum. This could be to help whatever Valentin has going on. But Carly needs to be careful. She doesn’t want to get on Cullum’s bad side. That type of attention could turn dangerous.
After all, there’s no telling what he would do. The man is not beyond kidnapping, killing, or threatening to kidnap or kill. He actually contemplated offing Jack. He gaslit Anna (Finola Hughes). Cullum is bad news. Thankfully, Carly has dealt with that type before.
Fake Nathan Has a Surprising Interaction
“Nathan” (Ryan Paevey) may need to take a breather and reassess his life right now. It’s getting harder and harder for him to keep Cassius contained. It has to be difficult to keep up appearances and be Nice Nathan, 24/7.
He’s slipping. This week alone, he seriously upset Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) when he got aggressive with his demand that they send Rocco (Finn Carr) out of town. He needs new allies, and he just might get one when he confides in a surprising someone.
Elizabeth Turns to Dante
Once again, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) spend time together. This time, it’s Elizabeth who needs the support. When she opens up to the police commissioner, this could be about something personal. Maybe her weekend with Ric (Rick Hearst) falls through, and she needs to talk to somebody about it.
Or maybe she brings up her thoughts on what is going on with Drew (Cameron Mathison). She feels that he’s ready to communicate beyond blinking his eyes. And she may be frustrated because it doesn’t truly seem like Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is doing anything about it. Elizabeth was just there for Dante, who spiraled after they realized Rocco shot Cullum. Now it’s his turn to listen to GH’s head nurse.
Ric and Alexis Support Molly
Even though Ric and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) have established some sort of twisted truce, they don’t like to spend all that much time together. But they are about to unite for Molly (Kristen Vaganos). Their daughter has recovered from her procedure and is discovering there’s a lot of buzz around her cowboy romance novel.
In fact, there’s so much attention that she’s about to head out on a month-long book tour with Cody (Josh Kelly) in tow. Do Ric and Alexis momentarily shove aside their baggage to celebrate Molly’s book?
