Tristan Rogers, who has been playing double-duty of late on General Hospital as Robert Scorpio and on The Young and the Restless as Colin Atkinson on The Young and the Restless recently lost a beloved pet at a time when he should have been celebrating.
Tristan Rogers: Devastating Loss
The actor took to Twitter on Saturday to announce the passing of his bulldog, Willy, who died the day after the pooch’s birthday, which makes the loss extra hard to take.
“Our wonderful sweet bulldog Willie has passed away. I’m heartbroken. It was the day after her birthday,” he tweeted.
Losing a pet is indeed like losing a part of your family as you care for the animal from the time you bring him home and he just becomes a part of your everyday life. Not having them around seems strange and lonely and can take a lot of getting used to.
Fans left their condolences for Rogers and his wife, Teresa Parkerson, assuring him that Willie went over the Rainbow Bridge into eternal happiness.
Thankfully, Rogers has had a lot to do in the last few months on two different soaps, as Colin is still a topic of conversation in Genoa City after conning Devon and absconding with his money.
Meanwhile, Robert Scorpio is on the other side of the law over in Port Charles as he’s the town’s new DA — and determined to bring down Peter August.
Soap Hub sends sincerest condolences to Rogers and his family on this devastating loss. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
