Brytni Sarpy, the talented lady who brings Valerie Spencer to life on General Hospital (GH), suffered a heartbreaking loss on Sunday.
The actress’ grandmother died and on Monday Sarpy paid a beautiful tribute to the woman on Instagram.
She reminded us of the sanctity of life and how when you lose someone, it’s never the same again.
Along with her heartfelt words was a picture of Sarpy with her grandmother, someone she’d posted to her Instagram before when spending quality time together.

Sarpy has played Valerie first on a contract basis and now on a recurring basis since 2015 when she came to Port Charles as Luke and Bobbie’s never-before-heard-of niece. She promptly broke up Dante and Lulu’s marriage for a while, and now spends her time as a cop looking for love.
