General Hospital star Lisa LoCicero has been finding new things to do at home — and especially new things that keep her 5-year-old daughter, Verity, away from the screen. On Friday, it was an arts and crafts day and LoCicero chronicled the entire thing on Twitter.

She first tweeted a pic of Verity at an easel being very meticulous about her painting and art with their words: “Attempt at no screentime today…” And it wasn’t soon before Mom jumped into the fun. And so did her co-stars.
Soon she tweeted a snap of herself with her own masterpiece of flowers, blue sky, and a butterfly, saying: “Don’t laugh at me. I have not held a paintbrush since second grade.”
Well, her fellow soap stars from various daytime dramas may have not laughed, but they did have some art reviews. “It’s absolutely beautiful. I’ll commission one just like it,” chimed in Maura West, presumably in character as Ava Jerome owns an art gallery and is frequently commissioning paintings.
Current Days of Our Lives head writer and former GH head writer, who created the characters of Ava and wrote for Olivia, had a few things to say. “I expect to see it hanging in the Jerome Gallery.”

But, Carlivati also soon added: “Someone needs to get back to work.” LoCicero then replied: “It’s that bad, huh?”
James Patrick Stuart, who plays Valentin Cassadine, had much higher reviews, saying “Who’s laughing? I love it.”
Even some The Young and the Restless past and present stars got in on the action. Jessica Collins (ex-Avery) said: “I see a collaboration – ‘oysters sitting in pretty flowers.” Meanwhile, Christian J. Le Blanc (Michael) just gave her applause.
In the end, LoCicero decided she might be better at a different craft and tweeted a big of some bead art saying, “Sadly, I think fused beads are more my level.” Well, we at Soap Hub just love that adorable beaded dog and hope that mom and daughter had a lovely crafty day.
