One of the blessings of the actor’s journey is the attention it encourages one to pay to one’s body and overall health. God knows I haven’t always done a good job of that, but time has made it easier. Have an opportunity now — thanks to the brilliance of the writer/director Owen Renfroe — to play a man who is desperately hungry, and therefore much thinner than me. The solution to this discrepancy is the same as it’s always been: eat more fat and a whole lot less carbs — and keep at it. Much as I miss that morning toast and jam, the improvised frittatas I’ve been concocting have taken the pain out of it. (The second pic comes with a #foodfetish warning.) This week’s version: Eggs, chicken, mushrooms, goat cheese, tomatoes, spinach, arugula, and dill, cooked in coconut oil and seasoned with red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, and garlic… add a little avocado and a person’s got five or six days worth of tasty breakfasts that kill those sugar cravings for literally hours. @owenrenfroe #GraceOfKetones
